About Me

Kari Bradley Lombardo, PT is an experienced Physical Therapist who has spent her adult life dedicated to children.  Her professional experience as a PT spans across a variety of patient populations and settings.  Kari is well versed in performing evaluations, working with a multi-disciplinary team and completing pediatric treatments in a fun & caring way.

Kari began her career upon graduation from Ithaca College in 1989, working at United Cerebral Palsy in Brooklyn with children preschool through age 21.  She was recruited to The New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, one of the premier teaching hospitals in the country.  During her time there, she worked across many inpatient and outpatient departments never losing her passion for pediatrics. She began providing home care to  kids in the evenings, while continuing to solidify her general medical knowledge at NYP.  In 1997, Kari decided to further broaden her experience by becoming a traveling PT, which took her to Idaho and Massachusetts. This experience added to Kari's plethora of skills, knowledge and flexibility.

Upon returning to NYC in 1998, she was determined to dedicate 100% of her time to pediatrics and began pursuing her Master's Degree at Long Island University Brooklyn. In 2002, she became among the very few Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialists in the greater New York area.  Kari continued her pediatric practice working with Early Intervention Program, preschools and home care until her move to Connecticut in 2004, at which time she treated in the out-patient pediatric practice through Danbury Hospital.

After taking time to raise her own children, Kari has returned to her pediatric PT practice.  Her extensive pediatric experience and  warm caring approach have helped hundreds of children and families across New York and Connecticut. Kari will provide a complete evaluation and plan of care, coordinating her interventions with a multi-support team as needed. She has a genuine and earnest desire to improve the lives of children and their families. If you would like to discuss your child’s needs with Kari, please do not hesitate to call her at 917-617-8067.

Kari is licensed in Connecticut & New York. Kari has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1987.
